It’s been many years since I actually kept a blog and I thought it was about time to reboot the idea.

The intent is to be able to express my thoughts in a longer format otherwise limited by current social media tools.  What’s nice is that web site tools such as this (WordPress shout out!) have matured to the level where I can concentrate on the content I want to create rather than building the thing.

If you’re wondering about the [original] title of this blog [“Nonsense Not Withstanding”], it’s a nod to the wonderful and absolutely creative body of work by Iain M. Banks, specifically about the Culture.  I’ve become quite an ardent reader of his works lately and am on a bit of a ship-mind-like naming kick.
